For International Claimants — DMCA-Style Notice
Hitsuji Clip accepts takedown notices from rights holders worldwide. For notices submitted under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), please include the following information in the Claim Description field of the form below:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (URL, title, or other clearly identifying information).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing on this service (URL of the clip on Hitsuji Clip, or clip ID from the result page).
- Contact information sufficient to permit us to reach you (email is required; phone or physical address optional).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will (1) take down the disputed material within 7 business days, (2) notify the user who created the clip with a 7-day counter-notice window, and (3) provide our designated agent contact upon written request. False or fraudulent notices may result in civil or criminal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Note: Hitsuji Clip is operated from Japan and the governing law of our Terms of Service is Japanese law. We follow DMCA-style procedures as a matter of practice for international rights holders, but we do not waive the choice-of-law and forum provisions in our Terms.
